Wages have not been paid
Unpaid or underpaid wages, deductions you did not agree to, or an advance that never seems to reduce. Wage recovery is a legal claim and there is a process for it.

You do not need to know which law applies, or have documents ready, or speak English. Tell us what happened and we will work out the rest.
What we can help with
If none of these match, report it anyway — we would rather assess something outside our remit than have you not ask.
Unpaid or underpaid wages, deductions you did not agree to, or an advance that never seems to reduce. Wage recovery is a legal claim and there is a process for it.
Report thisBeing prevented from leaving, or told a debt must be worked off first, is bonded labour. It is prohibited under Indian law regardless of what was agreed.
Report urgentlyAn employer holding Aadhaar, bank passbooks or ration cards has no legal right to them. Their return can be compelled.
Report thise-Shram registration, pensions, ration entitlements, health referrals and compensation schemes. We help with registration and follow-up.
Housing rightsChildren at a worksite, or kept out of school to work off a family debt. These cases are handled under restricted access to protect the child.
Woman & child rightsYou do not need to be the affected worker. Reports from neighbours, relatives and passers-by are acted on the same way, and can be anonymous.
Report anonymouslyWhat happens next
You should know the whole process before you decide to contact us.
By phone, or through the report form. You can withhold your name. Nothing you tell us is shared with an employer at any stage.
Every report becomes a case file with an ID you can quote back to us. Keep it — it is how you check progress without re-explaining.
A field coordinator confirms the details on the ground, usually within 24 to 48 hours for urgent cases. We do not act on unverified reports, which protects you as much as anyone.
Depending on what we find: a complaint to the labour department, a rescue coordinated with the district administration, or direct negotiation for wages and documents.
Wage recovery, release certificate, statutory grant, welfare linkage and schooling are tracked until closed — typically over 12 to 24 months, not weeks.
Questions
No. Every service — legal advice, complaint drafting, court representation, welfare registration — is free. We never ask a worker for money at any stage.
Yes. The report form has an anonymous option, and anonymous reports are verified and acted on in the same way. You will still get a reference number.
Not from us. We do not disclose who reported a case. Where a complaint must be filed formally, we explain in advance exactly what will become visible and you decide whether to proceed.
That is the most common situation we handle. We work at both ends of migration corridors and can coordinate between the destination worksite and your home district.
Where there is immediate risk — confinement, a child at a worksite, threatened violence — we aim to verify within 24 hours. Wage and welfare cases follow the normal process, which takes longer.
Our field helpline is +91-9899823256. For anything less urgent, the report form reaches the same team.
