1. Acceptance
By using this website, the reporting portal or any Mehnatkash Association digital service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.
2. Use of the reporting portal
The portal is for genuine reports of labour exploitation. Knowingly filing a false or malicious report may be reported to the appropriate authority. Reports are not a substitute for emergency services — in an emergency call 112.
3. No legal representation
Information on this site is general in nature and does not constitute legal advice. An advocate-client relationship arises only through a signed engagement with our legal unit.
4. Donations
Donations are voluntary and non-refundable except where a transaction error is demonstrated within 14 days. 80G receipts are issued to the name and PAN provided at the time of giving.
5. Certificates and verification
Volunteer IDs, service certificates and internship letters issued by us carry a verification code. Any alteration, forgery or misrepresentation of these documents voids them immediately.
6. Content and imagery
All text, photography and research on this site is owned by Mehnatkash Association. Media and academic reuse is permitted with attribution; commercial reuse requires written permission.
7. Survivor dignity clause
You may not reproduce any identifying photograph, name or location from this site in a way that could expose a worker or survivor to risk or retaliation.
8. Limitation of liability
We provide the site on an as-is basis and are not liable for indirect losses arising from its use or unavailability.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of New Delhi.
